What is “mesh adaptivity” to you?
When it comes to “adaptivity”, CFD people usually think of gradient or geometry-based mesh adaptivity – where local, strong variations of the solution, or certain geometry features, dictate where the mesh should be refined. But Ingrid Cloud is different. When we talk adaptivity, we mean intelligent algorithms refining the mesh where it matters: the mesh is optimized based on a posteriori error estimation. This technique saves you time, reducing your manual work significantly, and creates a mesh that will be at least an order of magnitude smaller in number of cells - yet maintaining, or even improving, the accuracy of your results.
